At the core of every hospital are the doctors that work there. We are both Milwaukee area natives and graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine. We each have over 15 years of experience in private practice concentrating on medicine and surgery of dogs and cats as well as birds, small mammals and reptiles.

Our mission is to improve the health of our patients by understanding their needs and educating their owners.

Prior to opening our doors Monday April 16^th 2007, many changes took place, some small and others big. They are all to serve you and your pets better! Something that did not change is Cory Bartelt. Cory has agreed to stay on and help us to get to know you and you to get to know us.

To support us in our efforts, the hospital had a “face-lift.” During the first three weeks of April, the building underwent some extensive renovations and updating. A new reception area, surgical suite, radiology department, treatment and lab/pharmacy areas were created. Installation of new digital general and dental radiology equipment along with new laboratory analyzers will allow us to make diagnoses and formulate treatment plans in a more timely manner. Additionally, the entire hospital is now computerized.
